    What guarantees does The Total Wash Co. offer on exterior cleaning work in Madison, WI?

    The Total Wash Co. offers three written guarantees on every job. First, a 48-hour satisfaction re-clean guarantee: if you find a missed spot within 48 hours, we return and fix it at no charge. Second, a partial refund guarantee: if a second visit still doesn't meet your standards on any portion of the job, we don't charge for that portion — no fine print. Third, we carry $2M general liability insurance and full workers' comp, so accidental property damage is covered and you have zero liability if a crew member is injured. We serve all of Madison, Middleton, Fitchburg, Verona, Sun Prairie, Waunakee, Monona, McFarland, and Maple Bluff. For window cleaning, the streak guarantee window is 48 hours. For soft-wash house washing, biological regrowth within 90 days gets a free return visit.

    I started offering the 90-day soft wash guarantee in 2023 after noticing that north-facing Madison homes with heavy tree cover can re-green faster than south-facing homes in a wet summer.     What's covered
    Every crew member is covered by our $2M general liability policy while working on your property. That covers accidental damage to siding, windows, landscaping, vehicles, and anything else we come into contact with during service. We also carry full workers' compensation coverage — so if a crew member is injured on your property, you have zero liability.
    Proof on request
    Need a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for your HOA, property manager, or commercial contract? We'll email one within one business day. Just ask when you book.
    Why it matters
    A surprising number of pressure-washing and window-cleaning companies in the Madison area operate without proper insurance or carry only minimum coverage. If they break a window, crack a gutter, or damage siding, you're left filing a homeowner's claim. We carry $2M general liability so a mistake on our end never becomes a bill on yours — and every commercial client receives a COI automatically before work begins.

    How the re-do works
    Spot a missed streak, a dirty window, an uncleaned section of siding? Call or text us within 48 hours of service. We'll be back to fix it — same day if it's something small and we're in the area, next day otherwise. No charge, no explanation needed.
    If we still can't make it right
    If after our return visit you're still not satisfied with the workmanship on a specific area, you don't pay for that portion of the service. No invoicing tricks, no 'restocking fees,' no fine print. You only pay for work done well.
    What it doesn't cover
    The guarantee covers our workmanship, not things outside our control: new bird droppings that appear the next day, a storm that re-soils your siding, tree sap that drops after the fact. For those, schedule a touch-up visit and we'll take care of it at our standard rate.

    On-Time or Free

    We arrive in your scheduled window or the first 15 minutes are free.

    Our commitment
    When we book you into an arrival window (e.g. 9–11 AM), that's a promise. If we don't arrive within that window, the first 15 minutes of your service are free — applied as a credit on your invoice automatically.
    You'll know we're coming
    The day before your service, you'll get a text confirming the arrival window. On the day, we'll text again when the crew is on the way with a live ETA. No more sitting home wondering if the truck is going to show up.
    Weather and safety exceptions
    If severe weather makes service unsafe (lightning, high winds, ice on surfaces), we'll call to reschedule before your window begins. The on-time guarantee doesn't apply to safety-driven reschedules — but we'll always give you as much notice as we have.
